Hawthorne Vineyards, which is located on a high bluff overlooking West Grand Traverse Bay, opened in 2013. Its red wines include Cabernet Franc/Merlot, Cherry Splendor, Gamay, Lemberger, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Rose, while its whites include Auxerrois, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Riesling.
